Michigan State Sports Bar in East Lansing, MI

The Spartan Hall of Fame Café opened during the fall of 2007. This site, formerly Damon’s Restaurant, was extensively remodeled during the summer of 2007 with a goal of providing an authentic Michigan State University experience in a location close to campus, yet accessible to suburban families, nearby businesses, and MSU Sports Enthusiasts! The remodel helped to create an upbeat, and contemporary environment.

Throughout the building you’ll see display cases with a substantial collection of authentic MSU sports memorabilia, spacious banquet rooms, and casual hi top seating in our main lounge, and more traditional seating in our east dining room. You’ll quickly note the hanging banners depicting NCAA National Championships from over the years! We have excellent sports viewing on high definition plasma TV’s located throughout the facility and during warm months we open our patio for outdoor dining.

We have a very extensive menu with a number of signature items including Caramelized Salmon, Bourbon Chicken, Hall of Fame Salad, Steakhouse Filet Salad, as well as Choice Grilled Steaks and of course, our Premium BBQ Baby Back Ribs. We’re well equipped for more casual dining events and have an extensive menu of fresh Burgers (Spicy Avocado Burger is a recent addition), Sandwiches, Wraps, Fish Tacos as well as items like Gourmet Mac’n Cheese, Homemade pastas, and Pizzas.

In addition to casual dining, we have Banquet and Catering capability and are known for events as diverse as Business Lunch Meetings in our Spartan Room, to Rehearsal Dinners, to semi private family events in our Duffy Daugherty Room, and finally to Large Scale Company Caterings at location.
